[Poetry] Two Poems by SJ Harrold

Ode to Augusta Wind

Surge forth, Augusta Wind

Fathom spirit blood-sworn

Resplendent soul tamer

Dancing Earth’s regal breath

Intrepid sea mistress

Shrewd maven fate abides

Safe-keeper, dream maker

Heart driven servant thine

Njord’s Blessing

Far from the distant shore

Njord’s breath feeds the serpent.

Hale sturdy sea titan

heartens the ship wielder,

marking fast the sail road

sleek and full of treasures.

Riches bestowed justly,

on the brave in his realm.
